The dead announced 3 Shows Via text message and e-mail in NYC for March 30th. here is how it reads...

The Dead today confirmed they'll perform three shows on Mon., March 30 in NYC at 3 different venues: an acoustic set (Bob Weir/Phil Lesh/Warren Haynes) at Angel Orensanz, an electric full-band (incl. Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Jeff Chimenti) set at The Gramercy Theatre and the electric finale at Roseland.

i can't believe they are adding more shows...you couldnt pay me to go see the dead now that phish is back in town...but to each his own....particle in 1 day! woohoo!

jerry is the dead so there isnt much more to say about 'the dead'..and phish is about to bust out big for a bunch more years before they hang it up...i give them 10-15 years max...they will go out on top of their game and we wont even see it coming....and yeah...the book will close and that will be it...tomorrow is time for 'sprockets' !!

whatever man. jerry himself would never say that he is the dead. theres 4 other talented musicians still alive that were the core of the grateful dead with jerry for 30 years. and good I'm glad phish will be around so long, cause I know the dead won't, which is why I rather see them now while I can. lets see if trey and the boys are still touring when they're 70...
